The Hypertech v2 is a superlight and breathable two-layer suit with an athletic fit, designed and developed for riders seeking professional levels of racing performance. The Hypertech v2 also meets the much more stringent requirements of the new FIA standard 8856-2018 , while still maintaining its incredibly lightweight feel, weighing in at an impressive 265g/m² .

The outer shell is constructed with an anti-static Nomex aramid outer shell that provides optimal heat and flame resistance while maintaining the lightest possible weight, while the new inner lining is an innovative aramid fabric, also meeting the new FIA rule.

The suit also incorporates thin, stretchable and superlight panels developed exclusively for Alpinestars that maximize the comfort levels offered and also allow the suit to regulate body temperature at optimal levels. These F1-derived stretch panels are strategically placed at the elbows, lower back and sides, crotch and knees, providing excellent levels of flexibility and freedom of movement in all key areas of mobility. .
