For the 2021 French Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc unveiled a very special design for his helmet. A design that returned to the colors of when he was just a child who began to compete, and that kept a very special dedication.

He himself said that when he designed that helmet, years ago, he wanted it to look like Spider-Man's cobwebs because it was what was fashionable in those years on TV and in the movies. So he tried to add some detail that would resemble his networks. Those strokes, in red, are drawn on a yellow background. And everything is crowned with the upper part in blue, more common in their latest designs.

But it is in the small details where the story becomes great. On one side, the usual dedication to his friend Jules Bianchi. In the other, to his father, who died on June 20, 2017, four days before Charles was going to compete in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Formula 2. That is, that same weekend, just four years before.
