The tailored fit prevents excessive bunching and flapping at speed, while the waterproof zipper and Velcro collar are effective at keeping out water. Another clean design touch is a reinforced right elbow to protect against heat generated by the kart engine. The kart rain suit is transparent to allow the driver's suit to be visible.
